Claire Rousay is one of the most thrilling, essential voices
working in contemporary music today.
The singular LA-based artist, known for challenging conventions in experimental and ambient music forms, is planning to release her Thrill Jockey debut in early 2024.
A meditation on loneliness, her new album is her most audacious work yet, synthesizing disparate and unexpected influences from throughout rousay's long and varied career as a performer.

Rousay will be touring throughout the US Midwest this fall, performing alongside William Basinski, in collaboration with NYC duo LEYA, and including sets at FEaST and Columbia Experimental Festivals. rousay plans to tour extensively in 2024, including an already announced set at Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, TN and a premiere of her composition crying too with the Wild Up ensemble at Darkness Sounding Festival.
